Sales & Marketing Manager

Richard Paul Russell Limited is a small company specialising in design, development, manufacturing and distribution of high quality weather instruments and data loggers.

We are looking for a pro-active and highly self-motivated individual experienced in sales & marketing of technical products to join our team.

The focus of the role will be on planning and carrying out marketing and sales activities in order to build sales in current product markets and to develop business in new areas.

It will be necessary to quickly develop good technical knowledge of our range of electronic products in order to market them effectively and to advise customers accurately.

The role will involve maintaining and developing relationships with our reseller base and OEM clients as well as planning and implementing marketing strategy, including advertising.

It is essential the applicant has:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written
Proven experience in a similar role in a technology based industry
Self-motivation
Good PC and MS office applications skills
The desire and flexibility to contribute pro-actively to a small multi-disciplinary team
Clean driving licence.

It would be advantageous to have:

Experience of online marketing
Experience of using ACT contact management software
A background in electronics or technical products
