We supply complete systems for the measurement and display of wind speed and direction which use the WindSonic no moving parts ultrasonic sensors.
We can also provide weather station solutions for full environmental monitoring based on the MetPak meteorological sensor. Please contact us for details.

Choose from one of our popular systems:
Basic wind speed and direction system with WS-15A digital wind data display and alarm.
This system is suitable when the distance between the sensor and display is up to 15m.
System comprises:
Ultrasonic, no moving parts wind speed and direction sensor with RS232 output.
Anodised aluminium alloy mounting mast for the WindSonic sensor, 895 mm length, drilled and tapped to suit WindSonic sensor fixings.
To connect sensor to display unit.
The WS-15A display unit provides clear digital readout of wind speed and direction plus a wind direction arrow with cardinal points. The display enables set-up of the wind speed alarm and provides an RS232 data output to connect to a WindLogger or other data logger or PC.
Multi-tone alarm unit, supplied pre-wired with 3m cable. May be configured as high or low wind speed alarm with adjustable hold off and hold on timers.
Replace the audible wind speed alarm with visual red flashing LED beacon.
Add a WindLogger for wind speed and direction data logging.
This system requires 12V DC supply from mains adaptor or battery.
