We are looking for a pro-active and highly self-motivated individual experienced in sales & marketing of technical products to join our team.
The focus of the role will be on planning and carrying out marketing and ales activities in order to build sales in current product markets and to develop business in new areas. It will be necessary to develop good technical knowledge of our range of electronic products, in order to market them effectively and to advise customers accurately.
The role will involve maintaining and developing relationships with our reseller base and OEM clients as well as planning and implementing marketing strategy, including advertising. The job is mainly office based but frequent travel, occasionally overseas, to exhibitions and clients is expected.
It is essential the applicant has:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written
• Proven experience in a similar role in a technology based industry
• Self-motivation and good organisational skills
• Commercial awareness of B2B and B2C selling
• Good PC and MS office applications skills
• The desire and flexibility to contribute pro-actively to a small multi-disciplinary team
• Clean driving licence
It would be advantageous to have:
• Experience of using ACT contact management software
• Experience of web and social media marketing
